The Wheatsheaf is one of the few remaining independent real pubs in the Surrey area, situated overlooking Esher Green in the very heart of Esher and only a short walk from Sandown Park Racecourse, The pub is over 300 years old and oozes character and charm with real cask ales and weekly changing guest ales being served with a log fire burning over the winter months. We are a dog friendly pub. Chef proprietor Harry Greenhalgh oversees the kitchen and serves classic pub meals with a modern twist, as well as freshly cut sandwiches and our famous Sunday Roast. The Wheatsheaf also offers daily changing specials using the freshest ingredients and sourcing as many products locally as possible. Alongside our menu is a wine list, written to marry up with the dishes on our menu. Harry and his team offer a very friendly welcome and will endeavour to make your visit a happy and memorable one. The Wheatsheaf also has two rooms available to let and a Function Barn that holds up to 80 people, ideal for Christenings, Birthday Parties, Office Parties and Wedding Receptions etc..
